BEHIND SENTRE

George Bunjamin

George Bunjamin

Founder of Sentre

George is originally from Bandung and received a full scholarship to study in Singapore from the age of 15 at ACS (Independent). He later received the ASEAN Scholarship to pursue a double major in Economics and Public Policy & Global Affairs at NTU, where he founded Sentre and graduated with the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal.

Sentre began as a simple idea to create a platform for Indonesian students in Singapore to give back by sharing their education and experiences with younger peers in Indonesia. He hopes Sentre will continue growing as a bridge connecting students across Indonesia and Singapore and expanding opportunities for future generations.

Dara Humayra Anwar

Dara Humayra Anwar

President of Sentre

Hello! I am Dara. Like many Indonesian students, I once found the process of applying to universities abroad overwhelming. I began my journey as a Mathematics student at the University of Indonesia before realizing my goal was to continue my studies in Singapore and that it is never too late to take that step.

Through Sentre, I hope to support students who feel the same way by ensuring they are guided before, during, and after the admissions process. Beyond applications, Sentre is here to help students grow academically and as leaders as they begin their journeys.
